Internet has altered the way commerce works. It has connected people across walls, mountains & seas. It linked cultures that were once divided due to distance. It has unified the world.

The internet has unparalleled reliability.  We have seen banking transactions securely processed over the internet. We have seen communications transmitted without the fear of being read by unwanted persons. Unlike other medium, the security that could be implemented over the internet is way ahead.

Unlike direct cabling and traditional data transfer, the internet provides low cost, wide area networking.  In fact, across the United States we can find internet providers charging just a little more than ten dollars to give you a month of connectivity.

WebERP has benefited from all these. It is further more beneficial than other programs because it uses a common interface existing on all computers – a web browser.

WebERP has minimal investment in infrastructure. Instead of getting a whole new hardware for its server, one can just subscribe on a reliable web hosting provider like anaffordableoption.com.

Furthermore, there is no need for you to hire an expensive bunch of network engineers to manage your server. The demand for programmers to maintain is also minimal. One can even hire a virtual assistant to provide support at a very affordable per hour service.

I choose Odesk for my most recent assignment online. I have been a member for sometime but I usually would choose to get paid via paypal or in other forms.

The sad thing with that setup is the fact that there were unpaid projects and unpaid hours. With Odesk, this does not happen.

There are two options at Odesk, the Fixed and the Hourly rates. As for the hourly rates, whatever is logged and has been agreed upon will be billed on the buyer on a per week basis.  All that the service provider needs to do is to make sure that he/she log-in to the correct work assignment/team as he/she works on the project.

Fixed priced project is a different nut. You will bid to finish a work and Odesk will only bill the buyer upon the completion of the project. The only assurance that you have is to let the buyer to agree to pay a percentage of the project’s price.

Lucky for me, my buyers love odesk as well.

Most managers and owners would like to travel and yet remain updated with their business process. Almost always, they have to choose between the two.

In this internet age, there is no need for them to choose between the two. Likewise, there is no need for them to burn airtime credits and call credits just to remain updated. The only thing the they need to do first is to make sure that they have implemented an Enterprise resource planning (ERP) program that will allow them full access with full functionality yet secure while they are out of the office. They need a weberp!

So, what is enterprise resource planning (ERP)?

And what is WEBERP? WEBERP is an ERP that is fully webbased. No, I am not talking about a system that has internet access or a system that has an internet backdoor. I am talking about a system that is using the security settings available for most online business and stored on a web server that is fully live online.

This system is very much fitted for businesses that are either mobile or has multiple locations.
